The Educational Trust does, from time to time, circulate to its members a review of current affairs in Nigeria. Calendar of Events

From time to time the Trust organises various events to raise awareness of its purpose and to attract new members. These are usually of a social nature that provide opportunities to preserve old acquaintances or make new friends. Lunch meetings too, with an eminent guest speaker of particular relevance to Nigeria, are organised as appropriate.

CEC Gladwyn Lecture 2010

As part of our participation in the celebrations of Nigeria's Golden Anniversary of Independence The Britain-Nigeria Educational Trust co-sponsored the Gladwyn Lecture that took place on Wednesday 8th December 2010. Organised by the Council for Education in the Commonwealth the keynote address titled Peace, Progress and Challenge Nigeria's Education 1960-2010 was delivered by Dr Nosa Aladeselu, Executive Director African Women's Empowerment Guild, Nigeria and the subsequent discussions were led by Prof. Michael Omolewa, former Nigerian Ambassador to UNESCO.
