BNET has supported the Hope for the Village Child Foundation (formerly the Hope for the African Village Child) since 2006 with varying grants. All of these have been effectively applied to the benefit of some 4,000 village children and their communities throughtout Kaduna State. The Foundation was also assisted by a 12 month placement of a VSO volunteer in 2009.

BNET's grants have helped to fund:

    • Teaching aids such as blackboards and school desks
    • Exercise books covering specific subjects
    • Text books and other reading materials.

History of Grants:

  • 2006 - £1,750
  • 2008 - £2,500
  • 2009 - £1,500
  • 2010 - £1,500
  • 2011 - £1,500
  • 2012 - £3,000 (proceeds from sale of the Trust's Christmas Cards)
  • 2013 - £1,500
  • 2014 £2,500
